About Us

Amrutuday Green-Harvest Farmer Producer Company Limited is a purpose-driven agricultural enterprise dedicated to empowering Indian farmers while delivering high-quality produce to the world. Established in 2024 and headquartered in Kaman, Taluka Khed, Pune, Maharashtra, Amrutuday is proudly farmer-owned and farmer-managed, operating with a clear mission: to connect farms to markets with trust, transparency, and quality at its core.

We are more than just a company—we are a growing collective of passionate individuals who believe in ethical farming, sustainability, and direct access to agricultural markets. With our roots in the rich soils of Maharashtra and our vision spanning global markets, Amrutuday Green-Harvest is redefining how food reaches homes—locally and globally.

Our Origin

The journey of Amrutuday Green-Harvest began with a simple yet powerful realization: farmers, the backbone of our nation, are often disconnected from the value chain. This results in a loss of value, compromised product quality for consumers, and diminishing returns for producers.

Mr. Shriram Sapat, the visionary founder and current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amrutuday, recognized this gap and chose to act. With limited formal education but rich experience and a strong connection to his agricultural roots, Mr. Sapat envisioned a platform where farmers could collectively participate in business, access markets directly, and retain control over their produce and profits. Thus, Amrutuday Green-Harvest FPC was born—an idea nurtured from the soil, built by hands that have sown seeds for generations.

Our Name & Philosophy

The name “Amrutuday” reflects our foundational ethos—“Amrut” symbolizing purity and vitality, and “Uday” representing a new dawn or rise. Together, Amrutuday represents “a new beginning of pure, sustainable, and farmer-led growth.”

We are driven by values, not just volumes. Our work is grounded in:

Transparency: Every product we deliver carries a traceable story from farm to market.

Sustainability: We focus on eco-friendly farming practices and minimal environmental impact.

Empowerment: We equip farmers with tools, knowledge, and platforms to thrive in competitive markets.

Community: We build networks, not just businesses—uniting farmers, consumers, and partners.

Our Structure

Amrutuday Green-Harvest is registered as a Public Limited Farmer Producer Company (FPC). This legal structure ensures that:

The ownership lies with the farmers.

Profits are equitably shared among members.

Decisions are made collectively for the benefit of the farming community.

By adopting the FPC model, Amrutuday guarantees that every stakeholder has a voice, and the company serves the interests of its members over mere commercial gains.

What We Do

We operate at the intersection of agriculture, trade, and service delivery. Our core offerings span four major verticals:

1. Export of Fresh Produce

We specialize in exporting farm-fresh vegetables and groceries that meet global standards. While we do not currently serve Gulf countries, our reach extends to multiple other international markets. With a keen focus on packaging, logistics, and shelf life, our exports are curated to meet the preferences of diverse consumer bases.

2. Manufacturing & Processing

To add value to agricultural products, we are setting up systems for basic processing, cleaning, grading, and packaging. This ensures consistency, reduces post-harvest losses, and improves marketability, especially in competitive markets.

3. Domestic Supply & Distribution

Within India, we supply to wholesalers, retailers, and institutions, catering to urban markets that are constantly seeking quality produce. By bypassing unnecessary intermediaries, we ensure freshness, affordability, and better returns for farmers.

4. Agro Services

Our service division supports farmers through:

Technical guidance

Market linkage assistance

Training in sustainable practices

Access to agri-inputs and tools

We don’t just grow produce—we grow knowledge, capacity, and resilience.

Our Products

Our primary focus is on the trading and supply of:

Fresh Vegetables (leafy greens, root crops, seasonal vegetables)

Staple Groceries (pulses, cereals, grains, spices—direct from farms)

Custom Agro Packs for institutions or retail chains

Each product is sourced directly from member farms, ensuring purity, freshness, and reliability. This “Direct from Farmer” approach is our strongest Unique Selling Proposition (USP).

Our Market Reach

India is our home base and primary operational territory. We cater to major metro cities, tier-2 urban centers, and expanding rural demand.

Internationally, we have started establishing trade relationships across multiple countries (excluding Gulf countries for now), and our long-term plan includes building a full-fledged export chain with integrated cold storage and warehousing.

We aim to position Amrutuday as a global ambassador of Indian agriculture, rooted in quality and ethics.

Our Team & Workforce

Amrutuday is powered by a growing team of 10 dedicated professionals, supported by a larger network of farmers, coordinators, and part-time workers. As a young organization, we are small in size but rich in commitment, energy, and ambition.

Our founder, Shriram Sapat, with humble academic beginnings and decades of grassroots experience, leads the company with hands-on leadership and unwavering dedication to his community. His vision is grounded in real-life challenges faced by farmers, giving the organization unmatched authenticity and purpose.

Our Infrastructure & Location

Our headquarters is located in Kaman village, Taluka Khed, Pune, Maharashtra – 410505—strategically positioned between rural farmlands and major trade corridors. This allows us to serve both our sourcing and distribution needs effectively.
